The director

Italo Losero

Filmmaker · Educator · AI Researcher

Italo Losero (La Cassa, TO, 1963) is a filmmaker, educator and researcher in the field of artificial intelligence applied to image-making. He holds a degree in Forest and Environmental Sciences from the University of Turin, and has combined decades of technology teaching — industrial automation, PLCs, robotics — with digital experimentation.

Since 2018 he is the founder and CEO of Dogma Dynamics, a studio specialising in AI systems for visual communication: SEO with artificial intelligence, AI systems for numerical, lexical and graphical data, and image generation with latent diffusion models.

He is a speaker and lecturer on generative imagery at universities, photography clubs and professional associations across Italy. He has delivered over twenty training events on AI for photography and image-making between 2022 and 2025.

DREAMKILLER is his first short film, born from the intersection of his mountain videography practice — the Lanzo Valleys, Lake Veillet, the alpine trails of Piedmont — and his experimentation with latent diffusion models run entirely locally, without sending data to cloud services.
